Station Camera

First of all let me give you a short introduction. I am actively engaged here in the UK on a new build (say it quietly!) standard gauge loco project, and am most unlikely to be able to visit the C&T even though I have a great interest in American narrow gauge. I do however keep an eye on your most excellent web cams and have spotted lots of wildlife earlier last year. What to me looked like a porcupine passing the depot plus a fox and deer in the loco yard. The reason for this is that I often view early in the morning (UK) time, so right through your night past midnight into the early hours. My final point is that those of us abroad may well be an extra level of security for your site, so please do not close down the depot cam to the outside world.
Wishing you all the very best for the New Year,
Fred

Welcome from across the pond! If the Friends do decide to limit access to the depot cam to members, looks like you are one since you are posting, so no problems there.

Sharon, the Forum is opened to everyone now. We relaxed that rule last year.

Fred, the Depot Cam is in no imminent danger of being locked down for members only. It's a technically challenging project and I don't have the spare brain cells to devote to it these days. But, when I eventually get around to it, a basic membership will get you access. I believe they're $30 per year and that money goes to a good cause: supporting the railroad we all love.

Thanks for the clarification Jason.
