Winter strom watch 11/15

A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
LATE MONDAY NIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AT
ELEVATIONS ABOVE OR NEAR 7500 FEET...POSSIBLY UP TO ONE FOOT OR
MORE OVER THE SAN JUAN AND SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS. SEVERAL
INCHES OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE FAR NORTHWEST HIGHLANDS
AND UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE TONIGHT OVER THE SAN JUAN AND
JEMEZ MOUNTAINS AS WELL AS THE FAR NORTHWEST HIGHLANDS...THEN
SPREAD EASTWARD INTO THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS AND UPPER
RIO GRANDE VALLEY MONDAY. SNOW WILL BECOME HEAVIER AND MORE
WIDESPREAD MONDAY AFTERNOON AND MONDAY NIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF
EARLY TUESDAY.

Sound like a major storm which will give nice views on the cams, but all you folks in its path stay safe.

The snow has started just about as planned, should be full blown storm by morning.
