Funny, I cannot visualize the old dock. Have they made the dock wider or perhaps it is just the clean wood?

I think it is Jason. Look at the post set behind the line of the timbers, about halfway up the bank, towards the telegraph pole. It's now well behind the new timbers. Could be by a couple of feet.

Since the dock is only historically significant to the C&TS any changes are not a big deal. BUT! I'm happy that it wasn't rebuilt with concrete!

Well all is quiet on for the start of the long weekend in Chama. Snow is still on the ground and I am sitting here in Richmond, VA with temperatures in the low 80's.

'Bout the same here in Houston, but with some rain. Might drop into the 50's late this weekend. That's sorta like fall...

I keep hearing we're going to have cold, wet winter. BRING IT ON! Me and my pile of firewood are ready!

It looks like the snow is pretty much gone now in Chama, too. I suspect there is still plenty of winter to come. :smiley16:
