484 pulls the 216 out on time as a gallery of photo bugs shoot away in the smokey yard.

Missed the 215 coming in and wye turn but some heavy switching going on. Coaches and caboose shuffles. Even some MOW cars get moved about.

The 488 is still at it in the Chama yard. Shows you where my mind and heart are, trains are going past the Station Inn right now and I am watching the Chama cams.

Well, 488 is at the pit and the 216 for tomorrow has the normal 7 cars staged at this point.

Had to go out and run errands but snagged the pit stop.
Only 3 days left.

Videos of the day --
Start with a couple animal videos - early this morning a deer went bounding full speed through the yard, you can also hear a dog yelping and barking, looking at the South cam two dogs were near the locomotive area chasing, then a bit later what appears to be maybe a cat is sneaking over towards the wood shop. 2nd video is another deer just before 216 departs.

I didn't record much of it as I had another project to attend to, but after turning 215, 488 took the three passenger coaches that had been sitting next to the main and shoved them further into the South yard, then gathered up a few of the MOW train grey cars along with a couple caboose, and those are now on the track next to the main - likely starting to ready for the charter on the 24th. Only about 10-15 minutes of switching.

Also for those that may be wondering, the red speeder that was on the tipple track headed to the wye before 216 left, and then followed 216 out of the yard maybe 20 minutes or so after departure.

Thanks Larry for the videos and report of post 215 switching. The day ends with wisps of smoke drifting up from the ashpit.

You're welcome sir! I had a phone call and was digging out some old videos for another project, so didn't record much of it. Guess I get an F- for missing an assignment.

No low grades for you my friend for the coverage! It's A+ and beyond for heroic effort to bring a video archive alive. Thank-you for hours of tireless effort of capturing, editing, and then posting. A true Friend of the RR if there ever was. Larry
