Looks like a great day for a train ride, sunshine and clear blue skies await today's riders. #488 making the turn around and leading today's train.

Nice on time departure and hard to believe that we have 5.5 weeks left in the season.

I am certain this is the rear of the student freight passing over route 17 at Cumbres. Don't know if its running ahead or behind 215.

I agree. And for all of you who want to see it arrive in Chama, remember that the clock should read 15:14:14.

Yep on the time, they usually are in Cumbres 10 minutes adding water and setting retainers, then an hour or so to Chama.

Looks like the 487 is sitting out in front of the engine house.

It is - 463 has been doing some moves with 487 today - details when I post the video reviews, however for now 487 is in front of 463, left side.

Sharon,
This morning the 464 pulled the 487 out and backed it into the right engine house stall (as we view it from the cam). The 463 still looks hot but now is sitting behind the 487 - not sure the 487 is hot. Did you see how the 487 got there?

Thanks Larry, I guess we will see when you post the videos how the 487 was placed in front of the 463.

No John, I was not watching when 487 got over to the left side. Here is today's 215 arriving 5 minutes down with 489 leading.

Later in the day 487 was pulled back out by 463, moved back to the left side. 463 then went inside the right stall for a couple hours. After that 463 was behind the shop, and came in the back door pushing 487 out in front of it where she is now. Will be working the video edits after the school train arrives - posting later this evening.

Student freight is back and 489 pulled a 4th coach out for tomorrow's 216. My screen grab of the freight didn't work.

Thanks John - sometimes I wonder if I let them run too long - glad you enjoyed it.
