One of the K-36s blows of some steam in the early morning air today. Portends a steamy day on the last Saturday in August.
Another season is slipping by.

484 clears out of the way by using the little used route to the ashpit. Meanwhile patrons begin arriving at the depot platform.

Around 5:07 463 heads for the Yard Limit and out towards Cumbres for Dinner.

Here's today's videos. Two locomotives we haven't seen for a while are put to work today. #487 takes the morning train to Antonito, and #463 takes out a short 5 car consist for the dinner/sunset train.

Forgot to add in this one - 484 took off two of the passenger coaches, then 463 hooked up to the short 5 car consist for the dinner train.
