489 has gotten coal and water and is backing down to the train. I think it was 489 that rescued the sunset train last night after 487 had issues on leaving Chama. Also looks like the little red motor car is back.

Thanks to Jason getting the links to the CDoT cams redone we have today's 215 as it crosses Rt17. Of course that is one hour off since they never corrected that cam for daylight time.

Lots of people wearing railroading gear tonight in Chama. School's in session.

They just did an interesting move. 488 headed out of the north end of the yard, and 484 followed her there. Then, 484 reversed to the ash pit and 488 reversed down the mainline and stopped where you see it stopped in this grab. I don't think I've seen them do that kind of locomotive dance before.

Today's videos - all quiet in the yard most of the day, then shortly before 215 arrived the new Engineer/Fireman school students gathered by 488 in front of the engine house. After 215 arrived and was turned, 488 moved to take the students out on a short familiarization run - getting ready to run a train tomorrow.

08-16-15 Preparing for the school train short run - then 488 leaves for the first of several short runs, with students trading places until all get to go on the locomotive. Looks like a full class this time.
