Looks like early morning showers have lifted and all is set for today's 216. Check back in for Engineer School Train and Larry's videos throughout the day. Bodes for an interesting day around the yard!

Just noticed that they have placed a set of steps up to the RPO just past the platform.

Could be time to showcase the restoration with the general public.

484X student loco comes in off the main and waits opposite the tank about 7 minutes before 489 brings an 8 car 215 into Chama. 484X holds the main again as coaches head to the wye around 4:20. Appears 484 is taking students on short familiarization runs just out of the yard limits and return. At 4:32 489 returns to the depot with the turned coaches. A short time later 489 switches out the extra coach from today's 215. Then 489 takes a rare direct route to the ashpit.

Actually slight inaccuracy in above post - #463 was pulled to ash pit by 484 or 489, couldn't tell in the light. Video coming, just something unusual to see at night.
