6:15 #489 heads to the ash pit to start another day.

Upon further review of what I recorded before I got home, just before the ash pit move noted above, at just after 6am 489 hooked up to an apparently hot 488 and pulled/pushed it into the engine house. I had watched two hot locos in front of the shop during the night, had wondered where 488 was this morning. No smoke at the moment from the shop, so have to wonder if there is an issue of some sort with 488. Added bonus of a very nice smoke show from 489 during this move.

Update -- Whatever the issue was it was fairly minor, #488 at the ash pit at 7:50am.

06-16-15 #489 pulls/pushes a hot #488 into the shop.

About 8am the Engineer/Fireman school train departed. Just before departure several of the students were on top of the loco obviously being shown things. Heavy stutter/freezeup in the cams this morning, but not too bad.

The la Manga cam caught the bus bringing passengers to the train.

488 did some switching in the north yard this morning before coupling to the train. I also see a tank car on the track to the left that was not there earlier in the week. Finally we had a 8 car train today with 4 coaches.

Looks like a similar bus is parked at Cumbres now.
