Train 216 left right on time today with #489 pulling the train up the hill. A very, very slow start with a good show of smoke today.

The conductor kept waving a "hi ball" from the parlor and finally gave up and just got on board. About 30 - 45 seconds later it started to move.

CDOT camera comes through! 216 crossing US 285 and into the Antonito yard today. On closer examination there are also train cars visible on the remaining portion of the Chili Line beyond the D&RGW depot & wye.
