Check back for Larry's videos later today.

463 does some interesting last minute switching dropping two cars off the regular coach set. As 463 pulls the shorter coach set up to the depot 489 heads back to the shop.

Reduced the train by 2 coaches, maybe this will allow 463 to solo climb to Cumbres. To run with only one coach must not have a lot of tickets sold today. The whistle on 463 is not breaking so must have done something to adjust it.

05-31-15 Morning train 216 departs with only a 5 car consist today, though they all seem to be fairly full. Slower time of year for any of the tourist destinations, once all the schools get out and summer vacations pickup things should get busier.

Compilation video of the morning activities. 463 and 489 both were at the ash pit, watered and coaled. 489 then went to sick back in front of the shop, 463 moved 2 of the passenger cars from today's consist to a spot in the S yard. Busy morning for the crews.

About 5:10 PM 484 departed with 3 coaches. I don't remember seeing any special runs for today, perhaps something for the employees?

215 was only 5 cars today also so there are 2 extra coaches in both locations. The move of 484 with the 3 coaches is not expected since they don't need to adjust the consists by taking them to Antonito so 215 tomorrow will have the normal 7 cars. Also they were the older coaches and there did seem to be people on them from what I could see. Who knows?

After this unusual move 484 heads for service ending another interesting day! Heads to the ashpit, tank, and retires next to 489.

484 went out with sound recording folks. Wanted some weight to pull so added the coaches. Thanks to Greg C. for the info.
