Today is a raw cold day for a ride over the line. Bring a good coat and gloves for the open gon. Coffee and hot chocolate machine on board is going to get a workout today! Still will be fun regardless of the " season" the train goes through today.Thought I'd add a weather map too as it's going to be an interesting day.

As 216 pulls past the yard out into the rain and mists a reminder to check in later today for Larry Sullivan's videos. They will be great with the cold atmosphere dispersing the steam and smoke in interesting patterns through the headlight.

Perhaps not as nice for the passengers but the rain and cool weather sure makes for a nice looking departure! I do have the depot cam as well, but I had muted the sound in error -- will see what I can do and post something from that later.

The west bound is 30+ minutes down, the weather on the hill must be bad since the CDOT cams also seem down.

05-24-15 Train 215 returns - about 45 minutes late, likely due to the weather. Sun came out a bit and rain stopped just about as they pulled in.
