05-20-15 Yard Activities

Looks like firing up the front left locomotive in front of the shop - 484 I think it is, I've lost track a bit where they are.

Very likely started #15 - smoke behind the engine house now as well.

About 9:55 #463 is showing signs of smoke.
Two hot engines.
Could #489(?) be going to Antonito today?

That earlier smoke was indeed #15. It did some work in the "outback". Now, #463 is being fired up. #484 has lifted its pops. It's been many moons since we saw two hot engines at once. #484 is getting ready to move out for servicing.

Now certainly looks like coal smoke from behind the engine house. I don't believe it is just #15

Both locomotives now have headlights on. Fire patrol standing by as well.

#463 Moves to water tank, while taking on water #484 pulls a cold #488 down towards the tank, then waits. After 463 is done, 484 takes on water, then seems to pull 488 up to the tank for a bath. Now 488 back in front of shop on left side, 484 sits on the right side. 463 comes back and is now in front of the cold 488.
