No smoke, but a lot of busy people

Like most of us, I suspect, I'm eager to see some more smoke and steam, but the attention today seems to be more focused on "infernal combustion" machines. Crews have been working on the bucket loader and the little Rodgers locomotive has been getting a lot of attention. It's been moved down closer to the water tank, off of the coaling tower spur. Earlier, the forklift was moving various bits of hardware from near the machine shop over to the area behind #483. I noticed that the recently machined wheel sets which we saw buried in snow are no longer where they resided for the winter. Looks like some serious spring cleaning is underway. At around 11:00. the Rodgers ran down the mainline past the depot, heading for the wye? :smiley16:

That is the farthest that tiny Tonka toy has moved in about 3 years. Maybe more.

Never saw it come back. Is it tucked into the nether regions of the yard, or did it run off the end of the wye enroute to some other destination? :crash:

For those who may not have heard, the Rogers was purchased by someone in Durango and has gone there. -- Ed
