Around 08:05 463X headed east, stopped and topped off tender on mainline spout. Check Cumbres Cam in about 1.5 hours to see the progress!! First train over full line since fall is out. Yippee!!!

The speeder parked up at Cumbres has moved. However a truck is parked there today. Perhaps folks are up there waiting for the 463X to arrive.:)

It looks like they are going to be taking the other passenger cars up to Cumbres as well. Probably to take all down to Antonito.

Thanks to Larry Gibson for all the captures of the morning. Here are a couple of videos from the early morning action.

463 with fresh snow on pilot is taking a second turn up the hill following switching moves. Earlier they had moved the movie
train set into the yard to pic up the open gon and snack car. Then dropped RPO car back down to depot track. Back up to Cumbres to join up with the other 3 coaches waiting.
Last two captures are of earlier switching moves before departing.

#463 departs yard for the 2nd time of the day, headed back to Cumbres. The assumption is they will pick up the other cars there and perhaps continue to Antonito.
Unfortunately I'm up against that time again and have to head to work. If anything else happens this afternoon I'll work on getting it uploaded later.

A little snow in the catcher, but the snow levels must have not been much for the 463 to get to the pass that easily.

463 returned from second turn. Most likely #19 took the coaches east. 463 stays on this end probably since it's the only operational steam on west end at this point. (Thinking out loud
) That can get you into trouble!:):)
