Looks like the semi is in the parking lot while 463 steams outside the shop. Perhaps another interesting day in the yard.
Hopefully Larry Sullivan will get a few videos of the events for those who miss it live.

#463 may be a little cranky today. 7am local time was coming to the ash pit, didn't quite make it that far then backed to the shop again. #15 doing some moving in the yard now, and you hear off and on air noise from 463. Nice smoke show coming out this morning though.

Not yet. It's the fourth car back, and the open gondola behind it is full of extinguishers.

Both cams are being recorded, I have to leave for work in about an hour if something happens someone give me a time frame and I'll find the vid when I get back home. Anything in the next hour or so I'll be here.

One of several runs they have made by the depot, backup and run forward. They did this yesterday a few times as well.

Bringing lights down to the north end of the yard, likely night shoot tonight?

I talked to the demo tech (combat engineer talk), and he said that around 4pm mountain time, when the train is turned, and backing across the station to the north, they will blow the car up at the north end of the yard.
The time was very approximate, but he said they would be working on the car for about 45 mins before they blew it.
I got the impression it would be on the far side of the water tower.

At around 2:20 local time the turned train backed out of the north yard. As noted earlier fire extinguishers in open gon behind the old boxcar coach that is rigged to exploded.. At 2:30 local time train is out of camera range east of yard.

You are quick sir! Thank you! Here's the video, was working on getting the departure posted didn't catch the very beginning of the return. The car that was exploded doesn't look too bad, have to see the show to find out what it looks like there! Movie folks can do some pretty spectacular effects.

At 9:30 the train backed down by the tipple with actors setting up a scene here. Lots of flashlights on and off the train.

Shortly after train pulled ahead past the water tank into the lighted area. Shoot continues near 10:30 local time.

Train returned to station at 11:50pm local. 463 now being put to bed for the night, with a stop at the ash pit.

The big movie lights finally shut down at about 12:45am, one light left on to help with cleanup, which was turned off around 2am.
