#15 was fired up this morning and sat for an hour or so warming up. Seemed to be pretty stubborn moving out, but they got going and hooked up to 488 which was in front of the roundhouse. Spotted 488 where #15 has been sitting for a few weeks, then shutdown #15. No idea if we're done for the day, but for now three videos of the moves to be posted.

#1 - #15 moves out to the ashpit area - slow moving, seemed to almost be stalling a couple times. Cranky after a long winter nap in the cold

#2 - 15 moves to hook up to 488

#3 - #15 pulls 488 to in front of shop, then shuts down.

Anything else I get of interest for the afternoon I'll get posted once I get home this evening. Good to see some action and moves today!!!!

Here are some screen captures to supplement until Larry gets the videos up later today. A nice mid January treat to see the shop crew in action cleaning switchhes, moving loader/forklifts, shuffling loco, and flat car of equipment. These shots through noon local time.

Last group through noon local time. Shop crew walked out of view past ash pit during these frames with a broom to perhaps clear a switch over by swamp. Loader went inside open stall. Last movement observed before noon.

Around 4:00 local time the forklift and backhoe were active. Backhoe was back inside open stall. Later flat was moved back.

One more video to add with some of the equipment moves of the day. They pulled out a flat car from the roundhouse, then seemed to bring in a couple wheel sets and perhaps some other equipment during the day. Pretty good work day by the crew on a very snowy day in Chama!
#4 - Various moves by the fork lift and bucket loader

Final video of the day - in reviewing the day I thought I saw in the distance a couple dogs, as they got closer it seems a pair of Turkeys walking through -- I'm guessing Turkeys??
#5 - Turkeys in the yard
