Looks like a dusting of snow in the yard last night, more on the pass -- and smoke from the engine house as #488 is fired up in preparation for the Christmas trains tomorrow. I would expect maybe to see smoke in Antonito as well today.

Looks a bit chilly on Cumbres this morning.

I'd sure like to experience the railroad in this sort of weather. I just need a good excuse to justify the expense of getting there. Maybe a Rotary run...

It looks like there might be more than just heater exhaust behind stall number 2, or am I seeing things. I noticed it last night about 5:00 p.m. mountain time, wonder what's going on ?
