12-2-14 Daylight and Elevation

The newly added cameras give you the view of the amount of daylight and elevation relationship.

I thought I had a glitch in the computer when I looked at the site last night. I couldn't believe how the difference in elevation can make, very cool. Thanks Larry for the post.

I wonder if some of that light is attributable to the moon reflecting off the snow. You can see a similar effect on the north Chama camera when there is snow on the ground.

Moonlight is for sure an enhancement on the CDOT cams, I think the yard cams would do as well, but are thrown off a bit due to the town lights at night. It's definitely brighter at night with snow cover on the ground, especially noticeable on the North cam.
