11-19-14 Cumbres Extra Train Departure

Thought this deserved a spot of it's own, not lumped into all the yard train vids of the day. My naming it the Cumbres Extra - no idea what to really call the train. Will try to be here for the return as well, and post that into this thread too.

Hope they did not have any problems getting through the snow up to Cumbres. The engine should be back to Chama soon.

The Cumbres Pass highway cam caught the engine on the wye at about 4:00 MT. They will be back way after dark.

489 Lost her train!!!! Not really - returned light at 5:20 MT -- and for those wondering, this from the C&T Facebook page.
Today we ran a train up to the top of Cumbres Pass to leave off cars and equipment that will be taken on to Antonito tomorrow in a re-positioning move train. "The Old Days are Alive and Well"

Sure wish I could be there to watch them switch trains in Cumbres tomorrow.
