09-16-14 Morning Activities through 216 Departure.

487 started moving about 6:30MT this morning, caught a little bit of a mixed video here. Cams still on night mode, gives a bit of old fashioned black and white look to the video. Unfortunately the South Cam didn't cooperate, and turned to color while they stopped for sand. Anyway a bit different look than the usual -- enjoy.

As it's quite often asked "Where's 463?" Moved from in front of the roundhouse, to the ash pit then into the shop. So now you know.

About 8am, freight consist headed out of the yard, engineer school train I assume. Nice smoke show, could almost smell the smoke thorough the camera! Not on the video, but amazing that about 7 minutes after leaving the yard you could still hear the chug, chug of the train as well as the whistles.

I got back home for a few minutes in time to catch today's departure. 498 leads the way today.
