The network that the cameras ride on is not accessible. We're looking into it.

Jay said they had a big thunder storm the evening they went out.

Joe said the same thing. Said it sounded like a bomb went off.

This could be something simple. We'll know in a few hours.

Joe is there now and Steve (the cavalry) is arriving around noon. For a free service, these cameras sure get good support!

I was watching when they went down. Dark clouds on the north camera, but didn't seem to be storming yet. having had our home "tickled" by lightning once, hope all is well.

Hoping for simple! Living in the state with the highest lightning strikes in the US it becomes daily routine, always worry about the electronics.
Whatever the outcome, thanks to the support crew for being there so quickly!

Thanks Bruce. I doubt you would've heard or seen the one that shook the town.

Ouch! Sounds like the one that hit really, really close to us here in New Hampshire. Still have marks in the ceiling where my wife bounced off...

Yup, it was simple. But, we're still trying to isolate the problem.

Looks like a fried port on our Demarc switch. Thanks to Joe, there's a spare on site.

There will likely be another brief interruption today while we clean this up.

Ain't technology great...

Technology is great, good technicians are even greater! Thanks for the updates, and the quick fix. Having been through a time when virtually every electronic gadget in the hotel I managed at the time was burned out, I'd say we got lucky (or the grounding and setup is really good there!).
