Posted: Sun Jun 15, 2014 5:33 pmNot only was the school loco moving around, the the 215 train loco looked as if it was placing freight equipment for the C session to work on.
It pulled a string of about 20 cars to unbury a car that I think eventually ended up in the swamp.
A really great evening to watch the yard.

Posted: Mon Jun 16, 2014 8:22 amThe first session of the 2014 Engineer/Fireman School kicked off yesterday, with classroom work in the morning and familiarization with the locomotive in the afternoon. Today will see two runs to Cumbres and back, so some mid-day activity can be anticipated in Chama between turns. Tomorrow, the train will go all the way to Antonito, then return on Wednesday.
