Almost back to "normal"

Unread postby Edwin Frey » Mon Sep 30, 2013 8:12 am

Watching the action last week was intriguing. This morning, with only one locomotive under steam (#487), it seems comparatively dull. At the moment, the RGS Goose #1 is being readied for its trip back to Ridgway. I expect that we'll be seeing 463 and 315 bringing back the freight cars sometime this week, but I'll miss seeing the hustle and bustle which made last week so enjoyable. My wife, however, will be very happy to see me come unglued from the webcams and available to get back to what she considers to be more important uses of my time :smilie6:

So true, so true. Are the 463, 315, and rolling stock in Antonito?

At 6: 00 PM, 315 pulled into the yard with a string of stock cars, no caboose. At 6:05, 463 showed up with the rest of the charter rolling stock. For a little while anyway, it's going to get interesting again! :smiley16:
