RGS Goose #1 arrives

Unread postby Edwin Frey » Sat Aug 31, 2013 12:43 pm

Shortly after 1:00, the Ridgway RR Museum replica Goose #1 was unloaded onto the old mainline near the depot. My understanding is that it's there for a few days of crew training and test runs, will leave for a while, and then will return to be there along with Goose #5. It looks pretty little sitting there, kinda like a "Galloping Gosling" ;-)

Looks like two boxcars were moved to make way for some geese!
