Anybody know if the Thomas "engine" is adjustable gauge or do they have both 3' & standard ones? I assume it is just a blue plywood box & not powered? The "smoke" is veg oil sprayed on a hot wire?

Thomas is just a shell of an engine, and requires another engine to push and pull it around. It has a smoke generator in the cab and moveable eyeballs up front. Thomas can smoke as he leaves/enters the station and with the movable eyes, he can look at and smoke when he is posing for photos with kids while he is in the station. Having worked almost a dozen Thomas events at OERM, I can say with authority that to the little friends who come out to visit Thomas, HE is doing all the work pulling the train.

There are two narrow gauge thomas units I believe. If my understanding is correct they are not adjusted by location, but rather always travel to either narrow gauge or standard gauge railroads respectively.
