What are all the cars lining the old engine house used for, storage? I noticed they sprouted steps the other day and one seems to have even an awning.

The Friends use them for storage and cooking. Each has a different purpose.

Check out other parts of the Friends forum, particularly the part about work sessions, for ground level photos. Definitely provides a clarification of what we're seeing via the web cams.
