Where are the passenger cars?

Just wondering while looking at the camera images.....what happens to the passenger cars during the winter? Are they taken to Antonito at the end of the tourist season for maintenance and repair if necessary since none are visible in the field of view of each of the cameras.
Thanks,
Tom Troughton

Yes, they're taken to Antonito for maintenance over the winter. Newly repaired K27 #463 will be bringing the cars (and lots of happy Friends Members) to Chama on Monday.

Any idea what time they will arrive at Chama on Monday, I will have to be up real early to catch the arrival from down here in Australia but it will be worth the effort to see that first movement.

I think the train arrives at 5:30 PM MT. But, don't quote me on that.

Hi Jason, I think it might be earlier than that if my contacts are correct.

The later the better, 5pm on Monday is 8.30am here on Tuesday and I have the day off, so I will get up early and start watching, I don't want to miss it.
Can somebody give me a call just before it comes in. LOL
I hope Roger gets out there and takes some of those stunning photos.
Hope it's a good trip for all concerned, wish I was there.
