A quiet day in the yard other than 216 and 215, just trips to the ash pit and water for the other two locomotives. 216 Departure.

Here's 215 arrival video. Our friendly waver that has been on board quite often seems to have recruited about 1/2 the open gondola crowd to wave today!

216 heads out a 7 car consist behind #489

215 returns, also a 7 car consist behind 487. After turning the wye, 487 picked up 4 coaches from the South yard, added to the 7 that came in on 215 and shoved the lot back beyond the access road, so unless they change something we'll have an 11 car double-header for the penultimate Saturday of the season.

Train 216 departs with 11 car consist, 463 is the road locomotive and 484 is the helper. Will this be the last double-header of the season? We'll just have to wait and see.

Train 215 arrives behind 489 with 10 car consist. Seemed to be a large proportion of young kids that got off the train, wonder if there was some kind of school group or something today that led to the big trains. Whatever it is, good to still see some business as we head into the final week of the season.
