Hard to believe we're entering the last month of the season already! #488 leads this morning as train 216 heads out right on time.

Looks like the ridership was a bit light this morning, but after a "gangbusters" weekend, that's not so bad. What continues to amaze me, though, is that the premium cars are nearly always full. That's where I prefer to ride! :smilie6: Yes, fewer than three weeks left, and it's getting to be mighty chilly in the mornings. Perhaps the last runs will be through snow.

I know when my wife and I rode the next to the last train of 2012 it snowed on us in Chama. As we was leaving Osier there was a thunderstorm with rain and hail that turned to sleet then snow. Wow, what a day. It cleared as we left
mud tunnel but we missed Toltec gorge all points between, it was a fun ride.
