On Time

Wow, the train left this morning at 1000, almost to the second. The cameras are synching to a national Time Server and are usually very accurate.

Full train today as well: 5-1-2. I believe that's the maximum number of cars a single K36 can handle.

I doubt they keep on time records for this railroad, but if they did it would be darn near 100%.

Here's today's departure, and the sun came out right about the time of motion. Thanks again to Joe and Jason for the quick repair, and of course to the Friends for having the cams in the first place, and the railroad for allowing us to view daily operations.

Jason and Larry,
I have to confess I missed it - leaving on time caught me off guard! Thanks, as always, for capturing the full train's departure.

I didn't intend to imply that they don't normally leave on time. They do. But, today it was practically on the second. Just thought that was interesting.

Jason,
Right - nor did I. But I had to look away for at most a minute or so and turned back to watch only to see the rear of the train. I doubt my watch is all that accurate anyway - I should pay more attention to the webcam time.
