06-22-14 Geology Train Arrival

A little after 3:30MT the Geology Train Arrived. Note -- nothing is wrong with your sound at the beginning of this, I had refreshed the page so I didn't get caught in the timeout, and forgot to un-mute the South cam -- Sorry for that!

Will have some of the yard shuffling video to put up a bit later for those not around to see it.

Some pretty interesting shuffling of trains in the yard this afternoon. Geology train was brought down into the yard, then backed into the siding next to the main on the North cam.

I'll have more to post in here in the next day or two, unfortunately I'm up against the clock and need to head to the real job. Once again a huge thanks Jason for the mic, what a difference in sound.

A little four legged visitor checking out the newly spotted train.

You're welcome, Larry. But, it's the Friends that deserve the gratitude. I'm just a grunt.

You are of course correct Jason, my comment should have been to thank the Friends as well -- the post was quickly written, and poorly worded. I'll show my thanks with a little donation later this week on payday, hopefully others do as well.

Continuation a bit of the yard activities after the Geology train arrived Sunday. Sorry it's so delayed posting, but had to do a minor edit on the video, and didn't get to it until this morning.

Final part I'll put here -- interesting in this one 463 had wyed one car, came back and went down past the water tank, then brought the car back to hook up for the next day's run. At the same time the daily had wyed their train, and were hooking it up on the other end. I'm quite sure there was good communication, but interesting to watch both ends of the train with working locomotives.
