5.20.24 Hot locomotive

Right now, just after 6:30 am Chama time, a hot locomotive sits in front of the west stall of the engine house. One week until opening day so should see action this week including a hospital train to bring the cars over from Antonito.

It's 488. At 0843 MDT, backed down the main from grate-shaking and taking water.
