487 blew a really long end of season blast on her whistle which is something I have not seen before!

The 2021 season is now over. Well, I can safely say that this year has been much better than the previous! Of course we have had a fair few double headers this season, whereas the last had, I believe, 0. The star moment has to be the Victoria Iron Horse Roundup, plus the entry into service of the Victorian train with 168. Who would've dreamt it back in 1970!
But the most remarkable thing about this season, is the number of engines we have had running. Excluding 15 and the Goose, RGS 20, Eureka, Glenbrook, 168, 315/425, 463/455, 484, 487, 488 and 489 have all graced C&TS metals this year. That's a total of 10! What an achievement!
Hopefully there will be some off-season activity in the morning. We shall wait and see. I think the coaches have to be positioned at some point, so hospital trains are likely I would say.
Just a guy who loves steam.
