Interesting goings on early am Sunday 10.10.21

Right now at 0815, the train is sitting at the depot still facing as it came in last evening and there are 2 hot locomotives at the depot. This is very early for this much action. Should note that the support staff are working hard to load in supplies for today even with the train facing with the parlor and a cab facing east. The last Fireman/Engineer school does not begin until Tuesday so that is not it. Just realized that that is 15 sitting behind the cab.

489 is in Chama and just had its bunker filled from that tank car parked over by the coal dock. Looks like it will probably be the road locomotive on a double header.

Interesting morning in Chama, right now at 1000 there are 3 cars and 489 at the depot. Lots of people standing around.
