Looks like a train to me...

Unread postby Edwin Frey » Sat Jul 20, 2013 12:20 pm

Yesterday afternoon, after #215 arrived, I noticed a lot of switching going on. Unfortunately, I had to leave about 5:15 so didn't get to see what all they were doing. Today, on the north camera, I see a string of gondolas with an attached caboose on the track west of the mainline looking like it's set up to go east? Special movement coming up?

Looks like they are hooking up to that train this morning - 7am local time, wondering if this has to do with the fireman/engineer school this week?

Yes, I suspect that's the case. They pulled the train out on to the main, then backed up to the depot about 7:05am. Looks like the lucky candidates are gathering. Wish I were one of them!
