Amen, Pete. For me, on a normal drive, I'm about 13 hours into the trek when I get to Sanata Fe. At that point it all becomes a blur.
As bad as the drive up there is, it's many times worse going home. At least on the way up the scenery gets progressively better and the weather progressively cooler. Just the opposite on the down trip.
