The first Engineer/Fireman school starts today. There are only 7 cars at the depot, but 463 is on the road engine track, so a double header is possible.
Just a guy who loves steam.

Preparations for Train 216: Well the early activity caught me unawares, so no shots at the pit or tank.

Jack, you sure about the engineer/fireman school, they usually begin Sunday evening.

I heard from the C&TS website that the School runs June 21st-24th.

Right you Jack, this season all the schools are Friday - Monday instead of the past Sunday - Wednesday.

It looks like 463 will be used by the students since 489 has been cold all day.

463 departs from Chama LE with the students.

15 pulled out 489, I believe, from the west stall and transferred her to the front of the east stall.

There is track maintenance going on along the line. Dates were changed to minimize the interference with the track maintenance.
