Looks like the defrost mode is well underway in the Chama yard. What a contrast with what's up on top of Cumbres.

Rotary operations would be a great thing for us to see. Unfortunately, they should be used only with fresh snow falls for the sake of preserving the historic equipment, never in the spring when the line hasn’t been cleared all winter long. The snow over 5 to 6 months will have many layers of ice from both thaw and freeze cycles and compression. That ice will beat up a rotary something fierce.

Looking at it this morning I am wondering if it's an air hose coming from the connection where the air comes in for the pit blow down.
