Departure of the 13 car train 216: We are seeing some long and full trains this fall and its great for the railroad. Would not be surprised if the hopper is dropped at Cumbres and that rider gon heads to Antonito for the Friends Fall Colour train next week.

On a different note, darn if all streams froze again today at 12:59 pm MDT. Wish I could figure out what is going on with this. Even when I hooked up my laptop directly from the router, it froze also at exactly the same time the desktop did.

Arrival of train 215: Its about 30 minutes late a Cumbres so into Chama at maybe 4:45 to 5 pm MDT. Getting ready to process the arrival and its 11 cars just like 216 this morning.

After coming back from the wye, they take 3 of the coaches off so we have an 8 car train now staged for tomorrow. Once this is done, the crew does some switching including getting 2 tank cars from Gramps rack and other freight cars from south yard as they build a freight train which is probably for the Basic Fireman/Engineer school which starts Sunday.

The day started with a MoW photo from Cumbres and the day ends with MoW work by the light of a front-end-loader on the mainline switch near the wood shop. Been out there for over an hour now...

I was watching them in the twilight as I was processing the 215 shots. Maybe a locomotive did something to that switch when it went through during the day.
