This short video is a short attempt to help forum visitors identify various buildings and structures often mentioned by Sharon Evans, as she narrates the web camera activities at the Chama railroad yard. Each item of interest has a story or two that helps define it. For example, the wool warehouse is the only surviving structure of the original two built years ago. Today, the wool warehouse is affectionately called the "woodshop" by many viewers. If you look carefully to the south of the warehouse, the remains of the foundation of the second warehouse can be found.

Morning preparations:
I just went back and checked, the 489 has run every day since 10/6 which is a bit unusual since they try to rotate locomotives. One day it was a helper but all others it has run the full route. Well yesterday it did do an Osier flip.

Arrival of train 215: 487 and 7 cars Makes me wonder if the flip back yesterday of the New Mexico set and 489 had something to do with closing day.
