12/18/16 2 Steam RRs in One Trip: PM1225&D&RGW464
Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2016 10:23 pmIn central lower Michigan we are lucky to have 3 steam railroads. Today we were able to take in the Pere Marquette 1225 of movie fame pull the "Polar Express" at Owosso and then catch the D&RGW K-27 464 with its Christmas Train at the Huckleberry RR in Flint. About 30 miles separate them so on 6 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas a 2 for 1 steam train adventure is possible. Lots of fun on this wintry 15 degree day!
