My Church Orchestra on Palm Sunday

There is more to the Chama and Antonito area than the railroad. In this forum we will feature photos and articles about other things to see and do.

My Church Orchestra on Palm Sunday

For Palm Sunday, our former director (now retired), Richard Crain, guest-conducted the SBC Celebration Orchestra as we performed "Fanfare & Processional" by Camp Kirkland.

Unfortunately, not all members could attend this day. However, it's still a pretty good performance and we savor any chance to be led by the renowned Richard Crain.

I'm playing Tuba. My wife, Michele, is on French Horn.

Recording this was a last minute idea and not everyone understood my instructions to place their phone on their music stand to record themselves. Despite that and the mad rush to set up cameras at the last second, it worked pretty well. I'll do this again someday soon.

Cool!
And that definitely qualified as "Fanfare"
