For those of you who are looking for great footage of vintage Denver & Rio Grande Western operations on the narrow gauge the Friends have a new release from Machines of Iron entitled; "Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad Narrow Gauge." It runs 58 minutes and covers film from the 1960's showing movements of pipe to the Farmington oilfields, yard movements, tank car movements from the Gramps loading facility in Chama to the refinery in Alamosa, freights climbing the 4% grade of Cumbres Pass and much more! Order online through the Friends store. $30 per DVD includes postage. A great addition to anyone's narrow gauge DVD collection.
