Hogan's Letting Us Down

The off-season is upon us once again, with Roger Hogan hibernating behind his computer and posting 12 of the total of 14 topics on this site in the past 11 days, turning it into a Ranger Rick nature site while he's at it; but nothing from him about the C&TSRR. Fortunately, if one wants news of the C&TSRR, one can always go to the NGDF and read about such items as the pending oil conversion of #489, the sad news of Ted Norcross's passing, and other C&TSRR topics. C'mon Roger, time to get out and see what's going on down at the shop; and what about the new GM?

There's no reason to pick on Roger. He does more than anyone to promote the railroad online. And it ain't his job to entertain us... though he does a good job of it.
Where are the Board members and staff of the Friends? They rarely, if ever, post here.
Where are the Team Leaders?
Where are the average workers at the Work Sessions?

Roger has done as much, if not more, to promote the C&TSRR on this board than anyone. The nerve of trying to belittle his efforts on this board, whether it be train related or his top notch wild life photography is just mind boggling, at least to me. I for one would suggest that if anyone does not appreciate what he posts here, then simply don't look here. Stay on the NGDF and read the posts there, assuming you can tolerate all of the near sighted, back biting, self pontificating nonsense that anymore seems to be more the norm than the exception. (Rant over)

Well said, Tom.

Looks like we agree. `I hope Jason and Tom will excuse my use of irony to draw attention indirectly to the same points they are making.
Roger would understand.

Irony and sarcasm don't usually translate well in text. Thanks for clarifying.
Merry Christmas, Dick.

Dick FYI = I told the commission in November that I wouldn't be posting any C&TSRR posts until I hear from the new management. I didn't and don't want to inter fer with any of his marketing plans. If my almost daily C&TSRR posts don't mess with his marketing plans all he needed to do was discuss it with me. My to do folder has lots of C&TSRR posts ready to go. During the off season I post GLrr stuff once a week and then starting in March I will be posting for them twice a week. The GLrr use my posts as part of their marketing program.
