Unread postby Tim Tennant » Wed May 02, 2012 1:44 pm

A Day Out with Thomas Event will be held on the Cumbres & Toltec on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 15th-17th in Chama. The railroad is attempting to staff for this event. Below are the number of volunteers needed with "job descriptions" for what they are trying to staff volunteer-wise for the event. The event calls for 25-30 people, but they would be happy to have more. Volunteers will need to confirm that they are coming and all stations need to be staffed for all three days.

Passenger loading/unloading: 7-8 people
Photo line: 2 people
Temporary Tattoos: 4-5 people
Imagination Station: 4-5 people
Bouncy Tents: 3 people at all times
Balloons: 2-3 people
Floaters/Relief: 3 people
Sir Topham Hatt & Helper: 2 people (this is a costume & the ideal height for the person inside the costume is 5'5" or so)
First Aid: 1 person
Information Booth inside Depot: 2 people
Tear Down: Everyone

I am the 'head' trash man, (sounds impressive doesn't it?) for 10 years at OERM's Thomas events. I suppose I wouldn't qualify for any of these jobs. :-)
