I am very pleased to see the Friends get involved with this kind of charter, which in my biased mind is a great form of interpretation of the C&TS's historic DRGW legacy. Perhaps it is not the blizzard of 1957 but it recreates some of the challenges the people who ran the ng. faced. And it is great that the today's C&TS folks are still willing to go out take on the challenge of winter railroading. I have my ticket and hopefully this will be a quick sell out and good fund raiser for the Friends.

We are very happy to announce that 29 tickets have been sold now for the Flanger Charter! The trip is now a GO!!! This is great news. 11 seats still remain.

The latest ticket update. As of this morning Monday December 14 we have sold 33 tickets for the Flanger charter. This means there are only 7 spots left for this train.
