If you go to http://cumbrestoltec.org/images/stories/2012WS_Docs/R-7_01-02-2012-final.pdf. Or go to (http://www.cumbrestoltec.org), click on the volunteer tab, then work session forms, the the blue R-7 form, you will see all the project and their location on the railroad. Hope to see many of you out here.

I didn't get an email notice of this. I'm subscribed to the Friends news service. The last one I received was on 11/28 and it was about this web forum.

I have had trouble too Greg, my suggestion is to resign up just to make sure. I got this one as well as the challenge matching donation for the 463.

You are dreaming about the 463 matching grant program. No such thing! I checked the Friends website.
I will re-submit for the updates.

Its one of the things you missed, they sent it out as a year end appeal only to Friends members. I will forward it to you.

Greg, this is the gist of the announcement
Rich

Locomotive 463 Challenge Grant

The Locomotive 463 project is racing towards the finish line! We are on track to complete the project by March 31, 2012. We are also close to the finish line relative to having all the funds required to complete the project. An anonymous Friends Member has issued a challenge grant.
The challenge is a two for one match. For every two dollars of non-governmental funding we raise between now and March 31, 2012, this donor will match it with one dollar up to a cap of $25,000. In other words, if the Friends raise $50,000 in contributions, this anonymous donor will chip in $25,000.
If you have not made a contribution to the 463 but have thought about it, now would be the time. We appreciate everyone’s support. To make a contribution, mail checks to; Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, Inc., 463 Challenge Grant, 4421 McLeod Road NE, Suite F, Albuquerque, NM 87109. You may also visit our web site and make a gift electronically.

Got it. It must have been spam filtered. I received the news updates before though.

There is a 'new, and improved' R-7 form due out in a couple of days that will list new team leaders on some projects and changes in others. Stay tuned for the announcement.

John, the "volunteer" pages on the Friends' site now have an R-7 form dated 2/3. I noticed a couple of changes from the original.
