Mike the Marmot comes out to sun bathe almost every morning. What I am finding out with Mike is if I get there early and park and wait he is pretty laid back. If I am late and he already is out he heads down into the rocks. Almost every time I use my crow call real soft he looks towards the call sound, he ignores the call if I do it loud. Why ??? I have no idea.

Very nice! Yes most photos you see they are sitting up on their haunches all at alert, sort of like the prairie dogs. This guy is enjoying life! Thanks for posting!
