...of a place we all know.
While most of us generally know Chama is just north of the "Beaten Path" it's also off the normal air routes as well. For all the times I have flown over this neck of the woods, very rarely do we ever get close enough to Chama to get the ultimate birds eye view. This day was the exception. From thirty-seven thousand feet. Shot with my iPhone (I wish I had a better camera at the time) with the slight distortions and reflections from the imperfections in the side window glass.

Thanks Rich.
Every so often I'll get to fly over "CATS Country" ...usually it's because we've been put on a vector off our filed route.
One day, on a vector, I knew we were in the thick of it and just happened to look down and saw the unmistakeable hieroglyphics of the hand of man. That hieroglyphic being Whiplash curve. From thirty-six thousand feet the ROW leaves a definite and unique mark on the landscape ...especially with the improved roadbed and track work.

Was this one of those occasions where the captain got on the PA system to tell the folks in the back what's in view out the side windows? I mean, it's not the Grand Canyon, but it is Chama.
Seriously, thanks for sharing.
